Just two years into operations, hSenid secured its first major clients; Sri Lankan Airlines and Sri Lanka Telecom. These partnerships laid the foundation for trust and credibility in the industry.

Expanding into IT Outsourcing
Recognizing the growing demand for IT expertise, hSenid established its Resource Outsourcing division. This initiative enabled corporations to access skilled software engineers while also expanding the company’s global reach.
2001
Birth of hSenid Mobile Solutions
With the telecommunications industry on the rise, hSenid diversified by launching hSenid Mobile Solutions. This new entity was dedicated to developing software applications for telecom providers, setting the stage for future advancements in mobile technology.
2004
Major Product Launch and Global Expansion
This year marked a significant milestone with the launch of HRM Enterprise, a comprehensive HR management software solution. Simultaneously, hSenid strengthened its international footprint by opening its second foreign branch in Singapore, reinforcing its presence in the global IT landscape.
2006
Venturing into Africa
Recognizing Africa’s potential as an emerging market, hSenid took a bold step by launching regional operations. This strategic move expanded the company’s influence beyond Asia and positioned it as a key player in the African technology space.
2007
Expanding into India
Continuing its growth trajectory, hSenid set up its third foreign branch in India, a country renowned for its thriving IT sector. This move opened doors to new opportunities and a broader customer base.
2008
Strengthening African Operations
To enhance its presence in Africa, hSenid appointed key partners in the South African region to manage overseas sales. By this time, hSenid was operating in 18 African regions, solidifying its role as a major technology provider.

Supporting Innovation through hSenid Ventures
With a commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and technological innovation, hSenid established hSenid Ventures. This initiative focused on angel investments, supporting startups and forward-thinking tech solutions.
2012
A New Chapter in Hospitality
Diversifying beyond technology, hSenid ventured into the hospitality industry with the establishment of Mount Havana. This boutique getaway blended luxury with nature, offering a tranquil retreat for travelers.
2013
Expanding into Australia
hSenid further expanded its global footprint by opening its fourth foreign branch office in Australia. The focus was on promoting its flagship HR solutions, HRM Enterprise and PeoplesHR, to a wider international audience.
2015
Recognizing Entrepreneurial Excellence
hSenid’s founder, Dinesh Saparamadu, was honored with the prestigious ‘Entrepreneur of the Year 2014’ award, a testament to his vision and leadership in driving the company’s growth.
hSenid expanded its international footprint by opening its fifth foreign branch in Kenya. Additionally, the company partnered with Japan to establish LNBTI, a higher education institute dedicated to fostering IT talent.
hSenid Mobile launched TADHack, a global event aimed at driving innovation in telecom and mobile applications. Since its inception, the event has become a significant platform for developers to create next-generation telecom-based solutions.
2016
The Birth of Applova
hSenid established Apptizer Inc., now known as Applova, in Silicon Valley. The company was founded to empower small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) with mobile store solutions, streamlining digital transactions and customer engagement.
2018
Embracing E-Commerce with Appigo
Expanding further into digital transformation, hSenid founded Appigo, a platform designed to help businesses go online with customized e-commerce webstores, allowing them to thrive in the digital marketplace.
hSenid strengthened its capabilities by partnering with a prominent IT consulting company, enhancing its service offerings and technology solutions.
2019
Growth in South Asia and HR Tech Advancements
hSenid established its sixth foreign branch office in Bangladesh. That same year, hSenid Business Solutions launched Turbo, a Do-It-Yourself (DIY) HRIS solution, providing businesses with an easy-to-use HR management system.
2020
Three resilient awards
hSenid Business Solutions was honored with three resilient awards at the annual National Export Awards 2020, the prestigious Most Outstanding SME Exporter Award, Gold Award for ICT & BPO Related Services (Medium category) and Deshabandu Patrick Amarasignghe Challenge Trophy.
2021
A Historic IPO on the Colombo Stock Exchange
hSenid Business Solutions took a major step forward by becoming the first standalone tech and enterprise software company to list on the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE), setting a new benchmark for the industry.
hSenid Mobile played a pivotal role in empowering a Tier One telecommunications provider in the APAC region with network transformation solutions, facilitating the deployment of next-generation 5G technology.
hSenid Business Solutions was honored with three prestigious awards at the ‘Resilience’ 28th Annual Export Awards, acknowledging its contribution to Sri Lanka’s export sector during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic.
2022
Officially Listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange
On January 14, 2022, hSenid Business Solutions Limited (hSenid Biz) was officially listed on the CSE, cementing its status as the first enterprise software company to achieve this milestone.
2023
Advancing with Red Hat Partnership
hSenid Mobile achieved Red Hat Advanced Business Partner status, strengthening its ability to deliver and manage advanced solutions such as Red Hat OpenShift and Ansible Automation, further solidifying its position in the tech industry.
2024
Recognized for Resilience and Investor Relations
hSenid Biz was honored with the ‘Technology Resilient Company’ award at ISACA Sri Lanka’s inaugural Digital Trust Awards ceremony. Additionally, hSenid Business Solutions PLC received the ‘Best Investor Relations Small Cap Companies Award’ at the CFA Society Sri Lanka Capital Market Awards 2024, highlighting its excellence in corporate governance and investor engagement.
